What determines a diamond's value?

A diamond's monetary value is generally determined by an internationally recognized grading system from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and is based on what is referred to as The Four C's - Carat, Cut, Color and Clarity. The cut is the only one governed by human skill as opposed to nature's power and, aside from a stone's actual size or carat weight, is considered most important in determining a diamond's beauty and ultimate value.

Are your diamonds certified?

All loose diamonds sold by Alexa Rose Diamond are certified by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), the American Gem Society (AGS) or the European Gemological Laboratory (EGL) to ensure the consistency and quality that our customers deserve with every transaction.

Do you offer insurance for my purchase?

We do offer this service. On specific purchases Alexa Rose Diamond may cover the first year's insurance premium coverage through Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company. This will only apply to purchases with a minimum of $10,000

Do you offer financing?

We are pleased to offer excellent financing for select transactions through the Wells Fargo Jewelry Advantage Program. In addition, for qualified customers, once a transaction is approved, no interest charges will be applied if a purchase is paid in full within six months. They also offer 12-month payment programs.

May I return a purchase?

To ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchase, we will happily provide them with an exchange or full refund on any items returned within 30-days of their original purchase in their original condition. Simply bring the item back to our showroom. Return policy does not apply to special orders or custom design.

Do you provide appraisal services?

We will gladly provide appraisal services free of charge for items purchased at Alexa Rose Diamond. We will also gladly provide a written estimate for appraisal services for items not purchased at our showroom. Please note that for certain items, an appraisal from an outside laboratory for certified testing may be required.

Do you offer trade-ins and/or credit back?

In many cases, when you are ready to upgrade your diamonds purchased at our showroom, we will buy diamonds back. Simply bring your diamond into our showroom for a free appraisal and, if you agree with the price, we will gladly trade in your stone and/or jewelry item.

Are your diamonds "conflict-free"?

All of our diamonds are 100% conflict-free -- we only buy diamonds from manufacturers and suppliers who adhere completely with the U.N. resolutions known as the Kimberley Accord.

If I see a piece I love, can you modify the design?

We will gladly assist you in designing the perfect custom piece of jewelry or in modifying one of our existing pieces. For custom work, simply bring in a drawing or photograph and we will help you fashion the piece of jewelry of your dreams.

We are members of the Jeweler's Board of Trade (JBT), Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and we are an accredited member of the Better Business Bureau of Arizona, with an A+ rating since 2008.
